Ex-Dolphins RB Mark Walton Has Charges Dropped For Punching Pregnant Woman

Mark Walton got some good news in 2020 after he was charged with allegedly attacking a woman who was five months pregnant with his child.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, those charges have been dropped by the State of Florida.

Former #Dolphins RB Mark Walton had his charge of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman from November dropped by the state of Florida, per lawyer Michael Gottlieb. He said, “The state of Florida, after months of investigating, chose not to go forward.”

The former Bengals and Dolphins RB has not done enough on the field for any team to look his way and past his behavior, so it is unlikely you will ever see him in the NFL again.

Walton was accused of punching a woman who was five weeks pregnant with his child at the time “several times in the face and head.” He was serving a four-game suspension from the NFL at the time for separate incidents involving the police.

Walton was arrested a total of five times between January 2019 and February 2020.
