On Saturday, many Twitter users saw the photo sent out by former press secretary Sarah Sanders that shared a message of her goodbye to the White House, as she ended her two-year stint in her role.
The photo drew critical commentary because of the lack of diversity shown in the picture.
Among the many people to notice it was Doug Baldwin.
The former Seattle Seahawks WR took to Twitter to call it out.

“Is this why they call it the White House?” Baldwin wrote, and added, “You can not meet the diverse needs of the people when those who represent them are not diverse themselves.”
Baldwin wasn’t the only one who felt that way:
Much like many athletes, Baldwin has been very critical of Trump’s White House in the past.
Here’s what Baldwin said of Trump in 2018:
“He’s an idiot, plain and simple. I mean, listen, I respect the man because he’s a human being, first and foremost. But he’s being more divisive, which is not surprising. It is what it is.
“But for him to say anybody who doesn’t follow his viewpoints, or his constituent’s viewpoints should be kicked out of the country, it’s just not very empathetic. It’s not very American-like, to me. It’s not very patriotic. It’s not what this country was founded upon. So it’s kind of ironic to me that the President of the United States is contradicting what our country is really built on.”
Baldwin called it a career during this offseason, after undergoing three surgeries since the end of the 2018 season.
During his final season as a pro, Baldwin caught 50 balls for 610 yards and five scores, including three catches for 32 yards in his last game, Seattle’s wild-card loss to the Dallas Cowboys.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
