Zac Stacy is on the run and needs to be caught and put behind bars for a lifetime.
A disturbing video emerged on social media that allegedly shows the former NFL and AAF running back beating his ex-girlfriend inside her Florida home on Saturday. TMZ Sports reported Wednesday the woman being thrown into a television stand and hit applied for a restraining order against the former New York Jets player.
“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” the woman wrote in the restraining order application.
She continued … “He then picked me up and threw me into my TV. The TV began to fall abd he turned to make sure I wasn’t getting up. As I laid on the floor he began to yell at me, telling me I’m destructive. He then picked me up off the floor and off my feet and body slammed me into our son’s bouncy seat.”
In response to the video, he has also been removed as a youth football ambassador for the upcoming TransPerfect Music City Bowl.
“Based on the video and domestic violence report regarding Zac Stacy, the TransPerfect Music City Bowl has terminated the relationship with Zac Stacy effective immediately,” the organization said in a release.
Stacy played running back for Vanderbilt and earned the program’s Most Valuable Offensive Player award in 2011, setting the single-season record for rushing with 1,193 yards.
His play in college earned him being drafted in the 5th round by the St. Louis Rams. He then went on to play for the New York Jets, Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL and Memphis Express of the AAF.
The 30-year-old Stacy played three years in the NFL.
