Deshaun Watson has a lot on his plate these days, and the last thing he likely cares about is a network speaking on multiple allegations against him compared to a player who will likely never play in the NFL again.
Even still, former Texans player Charles James decided to have his back after he took to Twitter and called out SportsCenter for their lack of coverage on Chad Wheeler, who was arrested on charges of first-degree domestic violence of his former girlfriend.
“Remember when SportsCenter talked about Chad Wheeler almost beating that woman to death everyday as much as Deshaun Watson? Yea me neither”
The former Seahawks offensive lineman allegedly dislocated his girlfriend’s arm and choked her unconscious after she refused to bow to him.
Some 16 lawsuits have been filed against Deshaun Watson that accuse him sexual misconduct and sexual assault.
SportsCenter has covered both, but Wheeler’s name wasn’t likely to remain in the news for very long since he was an unknown lineman that rarely played in games.
Watson is a top-5 QB in the league, so naturally, it is going to get more coverage, especially when new information continues to come out daily.
