Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has social media buzzing after showing up to the 2025 NFL Draft with a unique outfit.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy runner-up is widely expected to be a top-10 pick in tonight’s draft. Jeanty is coming off a monster 2024 season in which he rushed for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns to go along with 23 receptions for 138 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ashton Jeanty showed up to tonight’s draft in Green Bay with a nice dark purple suit, a bowtie and a golden pin with the letter “A.” Oh, and he topped it off with crafty diamond crocs:

There was a period from 2019 to 2022 where running backs were rarely being drafted in the first round, but things have changed thanks to the emergence of recent first-round picks in Bijan Robinson (2023) and Jahmyr Gibbs (2023), plus the MVP-caliber performances of Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry last year.
Ashton Jeanty will be the first running back taken, but North Carolina product Omarion Hampton and Ohio State standout TreVeyon Henderson are also strong candidates to be first-round picks.
Ashton Jeanty Will Be A Game-Changer Right Away
Like Gibbs and Robinson, expect Jeanty to produce early and often with his new team. Running backs of his caliber don’t come around often, and he should produce more than 1,500 yards of offense in year one.
