The 2025 NFL Draft brought in many eyeballs to the event, including ESPN’s Molly McGrath fumbling over her comments.
McGrath found herself in hot water after a live blooper during her interview with Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart.
After the Cincinnati Bengals selected Texas A&M star Shemar Stewart with the 17th overall pick, McGrath made a baffling comment.
“Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow’s jobs just got a little harder,” she said.
However, she did not realize that Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ quarterback, and Shemar Stewart would soon be teammates.
Despite this mistake, McGrath, a Boston College graduate who joined ESPN in July 2016, has a reputation as one of the top reporters in college football.

Though things like this happen sometimes, football fans on social media went on to trash the legendary reporter for her fumble.

While this year’s NFL Draft is undoubtedly a shocker for many, it gave the most surprise to Shedeur Sanders fans. Despite high expectations, multiple teams passed on him during the first round selection.
However, fans particularly trashed McGrath for her mistake.
