This is not the best time in this country to ask people to pay more money fro just about anything, considering what is already going on.
ESPN+, home to more obscure games and bonus content for the Worldwide Leader, is raising its subscription price from $6.99 per month to $9.99 per month. That is a 43% price bump that will go into effect on on August 23, 2022, per Front Office Sports.
Social media users hatesd everything about this change in price.
“I always hated how ESPN+ ends up impacting, and costing, mid-major college fans the most,” one fan wrote.
ESPN announced that ESPN+ would officially launch in 2018 and confirmed its $4.99 per-month pricing. As you can see, it has already had a price bump from when it first started.
If things stay on course, then another one should be coming in 2024.
