For weeks, one of the biggest storylines of the offseason was the Chicago Bears posibly trading for Russell Wilson after they were named as a preferred destination by the QB.
ESPN insider Adam Schefter all but killed those dreams when he announced that the team was signing Andy Dalton to a one-year, $10 million deal that will give him the chance to earn an extra $3 million in incentives.
Not long after the news broke, fans, analysts and even former players started weighing in on the decision.
Former Chicago Bears star Lance Briggs showed his disgust with the signing by posting a face-palm emoji.
Former Bears DB Adrian Amos appeared to laugh at the signing:
During the 2020 season, Dalton had 2,170 passing yards and 14 touchdowns in relief duty for Dak Prescott.
