It looks like things are off to a rocky start in Cleveland already.
On Tuesday, Odell Beckham Jr. took part in organized team activities, but the good times wouldn’t extend 24 hours later as OBJ did not show up to voluntary workouts with his new team.
During Wednesday’s OTS, head coach Freddie Kitchens was bombarded with questions about his absence and that led to Kitchens seemingly calling OBJ out for not being present.
“It’s also important for him to be mentally ready to be here. I’m not giving him an out … It’s better for him to be here when he can present his best self. Emotionally and physically,” Kitchens said at a Wednesday press conference.
Kitchens also spoke on Odell’s comments about turning the Browns into the Patriots and winning multiple titles:
Only time will tell if the issues Odell had in New York will now follow him to Cleveland.
