The 2025 First round of the NFL Draft is officially in the books. Memories are made, new NFL players’ careers in professional football are set, and we know which teams will improve or potentially fall flat in the 2025 season.
Despite that, we at TPS are looking forward to seeing what each of the first-round draft prospects will accomplish in the NFL.
Here are the grades for all 32 first-round picks for the 2025 NFL Draft from 32 to 1.
Which teams got the best grades after the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft?
32: Kansas City Chiefs – Josh Simmons: Offensive Tackle: B

After trading away Joe Thuney (who happens to be a guard), the Chiefs needed to select a new offensive lineman to protect Patrick Mahomes. Simmons should do wonders on the Chiefs’ offensive line if he stays healthy.
31: Philadelphia Eagles – Jihaad Campbell: Linebacker: B+

Campbell may have dealt with a shoulder injury, but he brings a fierce and competitive spirit to the Eagles’ defense in 2025.

30: Buffalo Bils – Maxwell Hairston: Cornerback: B+

Hairston ran the fastest 40-yard dash in 2025 and has speed and athleticism that the Bills’ secondary will appreciate in the 2025 NFL season.
29: Washington Commanders – Josh Conerly Jr.: Offensive Tackle: A-

Although the Commanders needed a wide receiver, Conerly Jr. will add some very good offensive line depth for the Commanders and much-needed protection for Jayden Daniels.
28: Detroit Lions – Tyleik Williams: Defensive Tackle: A-

Williams is an athletic defensive tackle who will help the Lions’ defense, which dealt with a lot of injuries to the unit in 2024.
27: Baltimore Ravens – Malaki Starks: Safety: A-

Starks should improve an already stacked Ravens’ defense, and he will work very nicely with Kyle Hamilton in the 2025 NFL season.
26: Atlanta Falcons -James Pearce Jr.: Edge: B+

The Falcons are loading up on defensive talent, and having Pearce Jr. join their defensive line will cause havoc against opposing offenses in the NFC South. Pearce Jr. might be the steal of the first round.
25: New York Giants – Jaxson Dart: Quarterback: C+

The Giants traded up to snag Dart, which is a bit of a shock, with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston already on the roster. However, the Giants must make sure their offensive line is good enough to protect Wilson, Winston, and/ or Dart in 2025.
24: Minnesota Vikings – Donovan Jackson: Guard: B-

Although the Vikings could’ve drafted a running back, drafting an offensive lineman never hurts. Jackson should work well with J.J. McCarthy in the 2025 NFL season.
23: Green Bay Packers – Matthew Golden: Wide Receiver: A-

The Packers needed help at the wide receiver position, and with a name like Golden, he should do incredible things with Jordan Love and the Packers’ passing attack.
22: LA Chargers – Omarion Hampton: Running Back: B+

Hampton should improve the Chargers’ rushing attack with Najee Harris and potentially can help the Bolts get over their playoff hump.
21: Pittsburgh Steelers – Derrick Harmon: Defensive Tackle: B

Harmon will do some incredible things with the Steelers’ defense. However, the Steelers still need a quarterback, and passing on Shedeur Sanders in the first round of the NFL draft might come back to bite them.
20: Denver Broncos – Jahdae Barron: Cornerback: A-

Barron joining a Broncos’ defense led by Pat Surtain II will be exciting to watch, and he should cause opposing wide receivers to get some headaches.
19: Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Emeka Egbuka: Wide Receiver: A-

The Bucs’ addition of Egbuka, who is their leader in career receptions, will do incredible things to the passing attack that already has Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.
18: Seattle Sehawks – Grey Zabel: Guard: A

The Seahawks’ offensive line was a major concern in the 2024 NFL season. Luckily, they addressed that with the arrival of Grey Zabel, who should have protected Sam Darnold quite nicely.
17: Cincinnati Bengals – Shemar Stewart: Edge: C+

Stewart had 65 tackles and only managed four-and-a-half sacks during his tenure with the Texas A&M Aggies. The Bengals are taking a bit of a gamble, but if all goes to plan and Trey Hendrickson stays with the Bengals, both Stewart and Hendrickson should cause nightmares against opposing offenses.
16: Arizona Cardinals – Walter Nolen: Defensive Tackle: B

Nolen had an incredible season at Ole Miss, but has some things to improve at the professional level. The Cardinals should be able to get the most out of Nolen in 2025.
15: Atlanta Falcons – Jalon Walker: Linebacker: A+

Bulldogs fans, do not fret, because Walker is staying in the Peach State with the Falcons. Walker is going to do incredible things on defense in 2025. Watch out for opposing NFL offenses.
14: Indianapolis Colts – Tyler Warren: Tight End: B+

The Colts needed a new pass catcher, and Warren has the potential to become a game-changing tight end for Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones to work with for the 2025 NFL season.
13: Miami Dolphins – Kenneth Grant: Defensive Tackle: B

Although the Dolphins needed an offensive line to help protect Tua Tagovailoa, drafting Grant should help the defense very well in the 2025 season.
12: Dallas Cowboys – Tyler Booker: Guard: A-

With future Hall of Famer Zack Martin retired, the Cowboys needed to find his replacement. Booker should fill in quite nicely as Martin’s replacement and will provide good protection for Dak Prescott.
11: San Francisco 49ers – Mykel Williams: Edge: A-

The 2024 49ers were plagued with injuries, which hurt their playoff chances. Williams should work nicely with Nick Bosa and bolster the defensive line in the 2025 NFL season.
10: Chicago Bears – Colston Loveland: Tight End: B

As talented as Loveland is, the Bears already have Cole Kmet. However, Loveland should help Caleb Williams out in the passing attack, and he should work well with Kmet in the 2025 season.
9: New Orleans Saints – Kelvin Banks Jr.: Offensive Tackle: A-

The Saints had a miserable 2024 NFL season with quarterback injuries to Derek Carr. Banks Jr. should provide Carr or whoever else is under center some good protection in the 2025 season.
8: Carolina Panthers – Tetairoa McMillan: Wide Receiver: A-

Bryce Young started to turn the page and show some good things in the second half of the 2024 season, and the Panthers’ drafting McMillan will help the passing attack for the better.
7: New York Jets – Armand Membou: Offensive Tackle: B+

The Jets needed offensive line help, and drafting Membou should help Justin Fields stay comfortable during offensive snaps in 2025.
6: Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty: Running Back: A-

The Raiders’ rushing attack was a mess in 2024 without Josh Jacobs in the lineup. Jeanty will fix the rushing attack for the “Silver and Black.” The Raiders’ offensive line must also be bolstered to make Jeanty’s transition in the NFL work.
5: Cleveland Browns – Mason Graham: Defensive Tackle: A-

The Browns had an awful 2024 season. However, drafting Graham will help bolster the defense, and he will do wonders working with his new teammate, Myles Garrett.
4: New England Patriots – Will Campbell: Tackle: A

The Patriots had a disastrous offensive line in 2024, and drafting Campbell was a must for new head coach Mike Vrabel. Campbell only gave up four sacks during his collegiate career, so he and Drake Maye should connect quite nicely.
3: New York Giants – Abdul Carter: Edge: A-

Carter will help the Giants’ defense improve in a very competitive NFC East, especially with the Commanders and Eagles having strong defenses. Similar to J.J. Watt, Carter should strike fear in opposing quarterbacks in the NFL. Watch out!
2: Jacksonville Jaguars – Travis Hunter: Cornerback/ Wide receiver: A

Often compared to Shohei Ohtani, Hunter has all the makings to become the NFL’s next superstar thanks to his abilities on offense and defense. The Jaguars must allow Hunter to play on both sides of the ball, as he wants, to make everything work out, like he did in Colorado.
1: Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward: Quarterback: A-

The Titans’ drafting Ward was a no-brainer. The Will Levis project flopped, and Ward should play quite nicely in the “Music City.” However, the Titans must have their offensive line protect Ward when the regular season begins.
