Robert Griffin III’s career has been marred by injury and it reared its ugly head once again.

On Saturday, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback suffered a thumb injury after he hit his hand on a helmet during practice.

Robert Griffin III was visibly distraught after injuring his thumb and getting an X-ray. He wiped tears from his eyes while his wife sat beside him.

Footage has since surfaced and it shows how freak of an accident it was as he hit his throwing hand on his teammates’ helmet.
