Things are not looking good for Jackson Mahomes.
A new document sheds light on the sexual battery case brought against Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ brother.
Jackson Mahomes is charged with three charges of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery in connection with an incident on February 25, 2023, at Aspen’s, a nightclub and restaurant in Johnson County, Kansas.
On Monday, the District Court of Johnson County, Kansas, issued a probable cause affidavit, disclosing facts of the 22-year-old social media influencer’s case.
According to the case affidavit, police responded to Aspens Restaurant after a man reported Jackson Mahomes shoved his son, who works at the restaurant. The employee went further into detail, stating Mahomes shoved him when he tried to get his water bottle from the restaurant’s office. He entered the key code to unlock the office, but Jackson Mahomes allegedly shoved him as soon as he opened the door.
Investigators reviewed the footage and it showed exactly that.
The allegations against Jackson Mahomes became more serious when police interviewed the owner of Aspens Restaurant.
According to the owner, Jackson Mahomes wanted to speak with her, so the two went to the office. She stated that Jackson Mahomes shut the door. According to the complaint, Jackson Mahomes grabbed her by the throat, forced her head back, and kissed her three times when they were in the office together.
She informed the investigators that she had not consented to any of the interactions.
The owner shoved Jackson Mahomes away from her at one point. According to the court record, he then told her not to inform anyone about what had transpired.
After Jackson Mahomes left the restaurant, the owner told two adjacent servers what had happened and showed them her injured neck. She would then place a call to her boyfriend.
Before he arrived, Jackson Mahomes returned to the office to tell the restaurant owner what he could do for her business and he refused to leave the office until she gave him a hug.
According to the affidavit, her boyfriend showed up and kicked Jackson Mahomes and his group of friends out of the restaurant. Mahomes was angry but eventually left, according to the court document.
The owner told investigators Jackson Mahomes had been previously kicked out of Aspens Restaurant and she knew him because he is friends with her former step-daughter.
One of the bond conditions is that Jackson Mahomes is not allowed to have contact with witnesses in the case. A date for a preliminary hearing will also be scheduled during next week’s hearing.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
