The dislike for Jackson Mahomes is at an all-time high.
It’s been one week in the NFL season and fans are already blasting the younger brother of Patrick Mahomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs opened the season with a bang on Sunday, defeating the Arizona Cardinals, 44-21, at State Farm Stadium to kick off their 2022 campaign with a victory. Mahomes completed 30-of-39 passes for 360 yards and five touchdowns in the win.
After the game, Jackson jumped on Twitter and delivered a four-word response to the Chiefs’ effort.
“We whooped ass today.”
The ‘we’ part got fans in an uproar, so hundreds of them had to let him know he was not on the roster.
The game was never in doubt after the opening minutes, with Mahomes picking apart the Cardinals’ defense. The quarterback was playing his first NFL game against Kliff Kingsbury, who coached Mahomes in college at Texas Tech and now leads the Cardinals.
He’s now 5-0 in season openers, throwing 18 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
