Mike White showed his fan base as well as the NFL world that he can sling the rock. White got the start Sunday against the Chicago Bears and tossed for 315 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-10 win. The new QB1 completed 22-of-28 passes.
This was the 27-year-old’s fourth career start after sitting on the bench behind Zach Wilson and even Joe Flacco all season.
His performance was so damn good that even his wife couldn’t believe what she was seeing. White revealed that his wife asked him who he was after he got home from the game.
“Who ARE you?!”

Jets fans are certainly loving how easily he can move this offense as opposed to when Zach Wilson is behind center. Nobody wants to remember when he threw for 77 yards, but it ultimately led to him being benched and getting White to play games. White has thrown for at least 300 yards in two of his four career starts.
For Zach Wilson, he threw for a career-high 355 yards this year and it was the first time he had done it in his career.
White is set to start again against Minnesota on Sunday. As long as he keeps performing, there is a realistic chance that he keeps the job for quite some time.
The New York Jets remain in third place in the AFC East, but only have one less loss than the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
