Josh Norman went into witness protection after one of the most viral moments of the NFL season happened at his expense.
Back in October, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry tossed The Buffalo Bills CB like a child with a wicked stiff arm.
It took Norman four months, but he is finally talking about that play:
“I’m not shying away from no one. I want to make that very clear, very, very clear,” Norman said to Yahoo! Sports. “That’s just the type of entertainment [fans] just want to see. But to actually go out there and do that? Man, they going to scurry and tuck they tail and go hide somewhere. They ain’t trying to do that.”
Norman should get credit for even trying to tackle a freight train to begin with, but it still won’t stop people from talking about it.
“After that stiff arm that’s the craziest my phone has ever been,” Henry said. “It took about three or four days to respond to every one, that’s how crazy my phone was going off.”
Norman signed a one-year deal with Buffalo last offseason and he’s slated to be a free agent.
