Is Julian Edelman thinking about an NFL comeback? Well, the retired wide receiver didn’t exactly rule out that possibility during a recent interview.
Edelman made an appearance at the Sunset Sports Media Festival in Croatia and was asked about a possible return to the NFL gridiron, as well as which team he would play for.
“I don’t know, we’ll see,” Edelman said. “That’s called a little teaser. We’ll see. We’re staying in shape but you never know. But I’d probably go back to the Patriots. I love the Patriots. Foxborough Forever.”
It’s not a no.
Tom Brady has made a push on social media to get his trusty receiver out of retirement, but it hasn’t worked so far.
The 36-year-old spent all 12 years of his professional football career with the Patriots, 11 of which were alongside current Bucs quarterback Tom Brady.
For his career, he finished with 6,822 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns while catching 620 passes. He was also named MVP of Super Bowl LIII.
