Kay Adams is one of the most recognizable names in the NFL media. Her show, Up and Adams, is one of the top shows in the world and brings in some of the biggest names in the NFL to get inside their minds for any reason.
Adams is often around the NFL, so she has to keep up with what the stars are doing. Most recently, that’s been the NFLPA Golf Classic, which is currently happening in Mexico with numerous star players.
Some of the star players attending include Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, Detroit Lions pass rusher Aiden Hutchinson, New England Patriots signal-caller Drake Maye, and Washington Commanders pass catcher Terry McLaurin.
As mentioned, Adams was in attendance, but not all was super positive for the NFL media member as she was, unfortunately, injured when a golf ball somehow struck her in the head as the players were golfing.
Kay Adams Responds After Being Stuck By A Golf Ball
“What do we expect? 72 of your favorite players who are yolked out of their minds and competitive and don’t have any accuracy are trying to Will Zalatoris themselves to a title,” Adams said on her most recent Up and Adams show.
“I was scared. My head was on a swivel,” she continued. “Courtland might be the sweetest wide receiver on God’s green earth. I was like, ‘I’m suing you, I’m mad at you. I can’t believe you did that.’ But then we found the culprit,” initially thinking it was Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton.

Ultimately, that wasn’t the case, as it was Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn. “I talked to him after and gave him a lot of grief for it,” Adams added. “It’s just hilarious. Of course, that would happen to me.”

Adams may have been drilled in the dome with a golf ball, but she doesn’t seem upset about it now. She may or may not have second thoughts about attending the event next year, but we’re glad she’s okay after everything is said and done.
