Kelly Clarkson celebrated her love of the Dallas Cowboys as she became the first woman to ever host the NFL Honors show.
The 40-year-old dazzled in a Dallas Cowboys-inspired dress at the NFL Honors award show Thursday to signify her love for her hometown team. That did not stop her from throwing shots at the team.
The “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer took the stage and just couldn’t resist roasting her favorite team for their playoff failures.
“Did you all know there are more playoffs, like after the Divisional Round,” Clarkson asked.
“Like as a Cowboys fan, I thought you all stopped doing that in the 90s.”
Sharing the gown on Twitter, Clarkson wrote, “Thank you so much @NFL honors! I had such a good time hosting tonight. See you at the Super Bowl!”
Despite her shot at the team, she was able to get in a couple of snaps with Dak Prescott and Dallas Cowboy alum Emmitt Smith backstage, giving them a special shoutout on social media.
As for the Cowboys, they are fresh off losing in the divisional round of the postseason for the second-straight season at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
