The AFC North rivalries are alive and well, and Lamar Jackson is making sure of them.
Joe Burrow has repeatedly stressed the importance of the Bengals re-signing both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, and the franchise listened to its star quarterback.
Chase agreed to a four-year, $161 million deal that includes $112 million guaranteed, while Higgins agreed to a four-year, $115 million deal.
Teammates since 2021, Chase and Higgins have become arguably the NFL’s top receiving duo over that span.
That is not something that strikes fear into the Baltimore Ravens quarterback.
On Wednesday, Lamar Jackson took to his X account and posted a GIF of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James mocking like he was afraid, which seemed to be a shot at the Bengals’ offseason moves.

Chase led the NFL in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708) and receiving touchdowns (17).
Higgins recorded 73 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns and did so while limited to nine starts and 12 appearances due to injuries.
Lamar Jackson has two MVP trophies and has been named a first-team All-Pro three times in his career. Last season, he became the first player in NFL history to hit 4000 passing yards and 800 rushing yards in a single season.
Lamar Jackson Has Favorable Record Against the Bengals In His Career
Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase got paid. Both received four-year contract extensions on Tuesday.
The Bengals’ offensive core has officially been signed long-term, and the team can now focus on preparing for next season.

One of the many hurdles they must overcome is figuring out the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.
The signing of the standout wide receivers is cool, but Lamar Jackson is 10-2 against the Bengals in his career.
