The situation became really odd when Jackson tweeted, “Wtf,” after the Ravens selected Iowa offensive lineman Tyler Linderbaum with the 25th overall pick.
Many thought that tweet was about the Ravens drafting a center in the first round, but he clarified that it was not because of that.
“It’s not about my center,” Jackson tweeted on Thursday night. “Stop that bs.”
Things started to come together once he commented again on the Arizona Cardinals tweeting out a picture of Brown already at the draft party just minutes after the trade.
The Cardinals dealt their Thursday night choice — No. 23 overall – to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Brown, who starred in college at Oklahoma with Murray and who had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns last season.
Lamar Jackson now has one less weapon on offense.
