Le’Veon Bell’s tenure with the New York Jets was a downright disaster. He lasted just a little over one season, accumulating just 863 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 17 starts. He also had 500 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown, before being released early in the 2020 season.

Bell has previously stated that he didn’t feel like he was given enough opportunities to succeed with the Jets, despite totaling 264 carries and 69 receptions during his brief time there. One fan didn’t agree with Bell’s assessment, so it took to Twitter to question his comments.
And wouldn’t you know it? Bell caught wind of them and decided to Tweet his rebuttal:
And when another fan chimed in by telling Bell that the Jets gave him what he wanted, Lev had this response:
What do you think? Was Bell given a fair opportunity in New York? Or did the Jets fail to give Le’Veon a proper chance to succeed?
