With what the Tennessee Titans are going to do with the first overall pick, it appears that the Cleveland Browns already know what they are going to do with the number two pick.
While it seems as though quarterback Cam Ward is all but a lock to be drafted by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, it appears that the Browns are dead set on taking Travis Hunter with the No. 2 pick.
Betting odds posted by Fanatics Sportsbook are projecting Hunter to be the No. 2 overall pick, but that is just the start of things to come.
A new viral rumor says the team ao wants to get one particular quarterback.
Online rumors say that the Cleveland Browns want to trade back into the first round to land Jalen Milroe.

The #Browns are exploring the potential of taking Travis Hunter #2 and then trading back into the first round to land Jalen Milroe.
It’s possible that Milroe could be around for their 2nd pick, but it would be gambling entering the season with Kenny Pickett as QB1. pic.twitter.com/OuHgiCCPvf
During an up-and-down 2024 season, Milroe passed for 2,844 yards and 16 touchdowns but also threw 11 interceptions. Milroe has 6,016 yards, 45 touchdowns, 20 interceptions, 1,577 rushing yards, and 33 rushing touchdowns in his career.

Should this not work out, the team could very well go into the 2025 season with Kenny Pickett as their starting quarterback.
On Monday, Adam Schefter revealed on his The Adam Schefter Podcast that he believes Travis Hunter will be the Browns’ first-round selection.
“That’s the thing with the draft; it’s a moving target,” he explained alongside The Pat McAfee Show’s Ty Schmit. “And it constantly evolves, and teams’ needs and desires change along the way as they go through the evaluation process.”
Schefter continued. “…The latest intel now is that I believe Travis Hunter is the more likely pick at [No.] 2, today, a couple of weeks out of the NFL draft, for a couple of different reasons. I think the Cleveland Browns watched him on Friday at his pro day and they saw somebody that can move like nobody else. I think that going into that day, they views him as somebody they can play at wide receiver and I think sprinkle in defensive back. So I think he could play two ways for them, but I think they may think of him more as a receiver than a cornerback.”
The Cleveland Browns Are Done With Deshaun Watson

Team owner Jimmy Haslam admitted the Browns would like to address quarterback in the draft.
It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns’ trade for Deshaun Watson a few years ago has been a disaster.
After tearing his Achilles for a second time, he is now unlikely to suit up in 2025, and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam recently labeled the trade a “big swing-and-miss” while implying that Watson won’t play for the team again.
