Marshawn Lynch has always been a man of the people, especially when it comes to the city of Oakland.
The Oakland native and former NFL star has a long history of giving back to the community where he was raised, and did it once again during the coronavirus pandemic.
After visiting Highland Hospital in Oakland to donate masks on Tuesday, Lynch was spotted on his birthday the next day driving around a small cart to hand out face coverings.
Most of the face coverings Lynch distributed had his famous “Beast Mode” logo on them.
A tweet from Tuesday indicated Lynch passed out a combined 7,500 masks.
If Lynch doesn’t plan on coming back for the 2020 season, he ends his career with 10,413 yards and 85 touchdowns on 1,469 rushing attempts.
