The beef between Mason Rudolph and Myles Garrett is officially over.
Mason Rudolph, Myles Garrett and several other members of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns spent much of this past week telling everybody they had moved past the ugly helmet-swinging incident and it showed after Sunday’s game when the two of them were spotted talking after the game.
After the game, Rudolph took to social media and posted his own little message about their relationship from here on out:
“Myles came over and said, ‘Good game,’ postgame,” Rudolph said. “And that’s all it was. I told him good luck. I have a lot of respect for him.”
“He played a great game,” Garrett said of Rudolph.
It was back in November 2019 when Garrett drove Rudolph into the ground after a screen pass as time was expiring during a 21-7 Browns win. Garrett would take Rudolph’s helmet and swing it at him.
Garrett was suspended for the remainder of the season, and Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey also served a two-game suspension for throwing punches toward Garrett in the aftermath of the helmet swing.
