Kyle Van Noy thinks Zach Wilson was seeing ghosts as the Patriots faced the Jets on Sunday.
Van Noy, who sat out Sunday’s game with a throat injury, took to Twitter to speak on the rookie QB who struggled all day throwing the ball to the Patriots.
Wilson threw four interceptions in New York’s 25-6 loss. His performance reminded a ton of people of when Sam Darnold threw four picks against the New England Patriots and stated he was ‘seeing ghosts’ while being mic’d up for the game.
A media member actually asked Wilson about that after the game:
“It’s OK to play a boring game of football. That’s really it,” coach Robert Saleh said after dropping to 0-2. “He’s an electric dude. He’s competitive as crap and he wants to win so bad, but sometimes it’s OK to be boring. That’s probably the biggest lesson he can take out of this one.”
Wilson became the third rookie in the past 40 years to have four interceptions in his first 10 attempts, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
