The Jets met with Carr twice before his signing. Once happened in New Jersey and once again at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis as they are searching for a veteran quarterback after Zach Wilson’s struggles in 2022. For the Saints, they now have a solid starting QB for the first time since Drew Brees retired. Three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas has been limited to just 10 games over the last three seasons.
