Everybody loves “The Rock”. That was clearly evident when his WWE entrance music blasted in MSG and he walked out the the “BMF” title belt to the Octagon.
Well, not everybody was feeling Dwayne Johnson on this night. After the doctor stopped the fight before the start of the fourth round because of a nasty cut above Diaz’s eye during his bout with Jorge Masvidal — Diaz did not mince words when speaking about The Rock.
Nate Diaz went on a tirade about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson not being on his side and even stated that he felt Mike Tyson should have been the one to strap the BMF belt on the winner at the UFC 244 post-fight press conference.
“F*** The Rock,” Diaz said with a smile at the post-event press conference. “That [expletive] over here playing me. See him smiling with Masvidal. He can get it too.
“He on that side, f*** him. I’m on the west coast side. Mike Tyson should’ve been here anyway, he’s the baddest man on the planet.”
“You guys caught me under a bad time, but The Rock’s cool. I like Ballers. But he picked the wrong side, he picked another side, so he can get an a*** whipping too,” Diaz said.
“All due respect, he can get it too. I just know he was on his [Masvidal’s] side. He’s got to be. He’s from the same town and all that. You on his side, f*** you.”
