
Darnell Wright is not doing himself any favors.
The Tennessee Vols offensive tackle is just weeks away from the biggest moment of his life and he is tanking his own stock with his behavior online.
The Tennessee offensive line prospect did not appreciate what Willie Lutz had to say about his game. It all started on the “Same Old Stripes” Bengals podcast when the host said Wright “has no business playing right tackle.”
Wright fired back in his messages.

That is not a good look.
At the combine, Wright ran a 5.01 40-yard dash with a 29” vertical at 6’5 and 333 pounds. His play with the Vols cannot be dismissed despite his messages to a media member.
While he is listed as a tackle, Wright would have to transition to guard if selected by the correct team.
The 21-year-old will likely have to answer to his behavior from a potential team, but it’s not likely that it will damage him enough to drop him. A team that desperately wants him is surely hoping it does so he falls right in their lap.
In the future, Wright will need to learn how to take criticism and let it roll off his shoulder. Criticism is part of the game and he will hear a bunch of it from his future fan base, so it’s best to take breaks from social media right now while he can.
