Nick Bosa’s social media history continued to be a problem just days and hours leading to the 2019 NFL Draft. It was essentially ignored by the National media and he went on to be selected #2 overall by the San Francisco 49ers.
In the days leading up to Thursday’s NFL draft, many noticed that the Ohio State prospect’s Twitter page had been scrubbed of his controversial tweets that criticized Colin Kaepernick, Marvel’s Black Panther and promoted Donald Trump.
But then, he went and made it bad again when a Twitter account @RzstProgramming uncovered Bosa liking multiple Instagram posts that featured the N-word and a homophobic slur.
Shortly after being selected, he was asked about his social media activity and he responded:
“I’ve learned from it. I was insensitive in some of the things I was saying, and I’m glad to be moving on from it, and I’m excited to start (career) with the Niners”
We’ll just have to see how he’s received in an NFL locker room.
