Big man aren’t supposed to move like this.
Louisville offensive tackle Mekhi Becton isn’t your regular big man as he boosted his profile on Friday by being the biggest player at the combine at 6’7″ and 364 pounds and running the 40-yard dash in 5.11 seconds.
The 20-year-old was named a first-team All-ACC selection, also winning the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, which is the league’s top honor for an O-lineman.
Becton also has experience blocking for mobile QB’s as he protected current Baltimore Ravens signal-caller Lamar Jackson during his last season at Louisville in 2017.
