You know one way to make your disgruntled QB happy? Give him an all-pro WR like Julio Jones.
On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons agreed to trade star wide receiver Julio Jones to the Tennessee Titans. In exchange for Jones, the Titans will send a 2022 second-round draft pick and a 2023 fourth-round selection to the Falcons. Along with Jones, the Falcons will send a 2023 sixth-round pick to the Titans.
It was a deal that had other fan bases shaking their heads at their team for not doing the same. One of those fan bases were the Green Bay Packers.
Jones will join Titans star wide receiver A.J. Brown and All-Pro running back Derrick Henry to form one of the league’s most potent offenses.
Last season, Jones was limited to nine games due to injuries. He hauled in 51 receptions for 771 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
