The Kansas City Chiefs are once again headed to the Super Bowl, and it’s all because of their dynamic quarterback Patrick Mahomes and what he was able to do on one leg.
Patrick, whose full name is Patrick Lavon Mahomes II, shares a name with his father, whose Patrick Lavon Mahomes Sr.
Unlike Mahomes’ mother, wife, and brother, the father has not been one to be on social media or out in the open. That changed on Sunday at Arrowhead when he finally opened up, and when he did, he had a lot to say.
To celebrate another Super Bowl berth, Pat Mahomes Sr. was smoking a cigar and stating he was “smoking on that Joe Burrow.”
His son played a great game to lead the Chiefs to a third Super Bowl Berth in the last five seasons. The MVP favorite threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns on 29-of-43 passing against the Bengals.
