A lot of fans weren’t happy with Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Trysten Hill after the Seattle Seahawks’ 38-31 win against Dallas on Sunday.
Hill had a blatant helmet-to-helmet hit on Russell Wilson and got away with a dirty tackle while bringing down running back Chris Carson in the fourth quarter. After the play was over, Hill could be seen twisting purposely as he grabbed Carson’s lower left leg, which sent Carson flipping to his back in pain.
The NFL hasn’t spoken out about it as of yet, so one fan took to change.org to get the ball rolling to get him suspended.
It reads as:
“Trysten Hill is a health hazard to opposing players in the NFL. The Defensive lineman tackled Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson on a play in the fourth quarter of their game on Sunday, September 27th 2020. After completing the tackle he proceeded to hold Carson’s leg while rolling to the side:
Intending maliciously to cause damage to the running back’s knee and/or ankle. Carson was helped off the field and immediately taken straight to the medical tent. Later on in that same drive, on Seattles 2 point conversion attempt, Trysten attempted to take out Russell Wilson with a late hit where he directed his helmet to hit Wilson’s helmet. Football may be a violent sport, but malicious intent to injure an opponent should never be acceptable.”
