Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green and everybody associated with the team is on high alert as they await tests on the WR after he suffered an apparent leg injury during the team’s practice Saturday.
Green was running a go route against Dre Kirkpatrick when he went down. He got up limping and eventually was helped off the field.
We now have visual evidence of the play that caused him to be carted off the field after being helped to the sidelines.
Green reportedly had a “distraught look” on his face.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor downplayed any concerns:
Here’s how he looked after his ankle was wrapped and it does not look good.
A toe injury in 2018 caused him to play in just nine games as he hauled in 46 catches for 694 yards and six touchdowns.
