It’s said that his wife and at least one other person observed that he had fallen and turned to check on him, but it was immediately clear that the situation was grave.
“Although Jeff’s not clinically dead, we’re told doctors have informed his family there’s no hope he will recover … and he’s being kept on life support while docs prepare to harvest his organs for donation,” TMZ reports.

Elway, who played 16 years in the NFL and spent his entire career with the Denver Broncos, hired Sperbeck as his agent in 1990. They also founded 7Cellars Winery together 10 years ago.
The former quarterback, widely regarded as one of the best to ever grace the NFL, won two Super Bowls with the Broncos and was the league MVP in 1987. He also led the NFL in passing yards in 1993. He also boasts nine Pro Bowl selections, and there was hardly any doubt he’d make it to the Hall of Fame long before he retired.
He was inducted in 2004.
The former Broncos player and general manager must be devastated by this news. Our hearts go out to him, while we are also keeping Sperbeck’s family in our thoughts.
