The Jacksonville Jaguars have parted ways with a bunch of players from their team that went to the AFC Title game, and it appears the franchise is in full tank mode for the 2020 year.
That seemed to change when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell called Lions GM Bob Quinn to discuss a potential trade to move into the No. 3 spot.
The franchise currntly has Gardner Minshew at QB, so the player they likely want is anyone’s guess.

However, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio says the idea of the Jaguars drafting Tagovailoa has gained some steam.
“The connection between Jacksonville and Tua has gathered steam in recent days, and there definitely could be something to it, based on some of the chatter on the pre-draft grapevine.
The Jaguars continue to send out mixed signals are to whether they’re in rebuild or retool mode. Drafting a quarterback in round one before seeing whether Minshew can become a franchise player seems premature, and definitely pushes them closer to rebuilding.”
Tagovailoa is expected to go in the first round, despite his latest injury at Alabama that he has since worked his way back from.
If that is their target, they will be getting a dynamic player who passed for 7,442 yards, 87 touchdowns and 11 interceptions over the course of three seasons with the Crimson Tide.WANT MORE FROM TOTALPROSPORTS? FOLLOW US ON GOOGLE NEWS.
