The Baltimore Ravens sent star quarterback Lamar Jackson home early on Wednesday during practice.
According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, he was dismissed due to an illness that “is not COVID-related,”
Starting center Bradley Bozeman is also sick. Neither are COVID-19 related.
“I guess it’s that time of year,” Harbaugh said.
If it’s truly just a bug, then Jackson is expected to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
The QB is coming off a terrible game last week as he struggled all game long agaiinst the the blitz-heavy Dolphins. He finished the game 26-43 for 238 yards with a touchdown and a pick.
Baltimore’s four ballcarriers combined for just 94 yards on 23 carries. They have since cut Le’Veon Bell from the team.
