Well, it looks like somebody really doesn’t like Jay Gruden.
On Friday, social media was buzzing when a video surfaced that showed a man strongly resembling Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden smoking an unidentified substance and sitting on the ground while getting close with a young woman.
The Redskins were asked about that video and declined to comment.
I guess they had good reason, because it seems that video is over a year old, according to PFT.
Via Pro Football Talk:
“Those videos including images of Washington coach Jay Gruden that emerged on Friday are not new videos.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the videos are more than a year old, if not older than that.”
Barstool Sports head honcho Dave Portnoy claimed to know about the existence of that video as early as 2 years ago, but decided not to post it.
That video would surface shortly after Gruden announced that Colt McCoy, and not rookie first-rounder Dwayne Haskins, will start at quarterback against the New England Patriots. It could be a coincidence, but who knows why the person that recorded it suddenly dropped it today.
Gruden has enough on his plate as the Redskins are 0-4 and staring at 0-5 as they get set to play the New England Patriots.
