Lauren Tannehill was born on July 28th, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia to Nancy Ufer and John Ufer. Her mother is an insurance and real estate agent and her father works as an administrator in the private medical practice. She has two brothers, Dillon and Jordan.
From early on, Lauren and her family moved around a lot because of her parents’ work and records show they moved at least 6 times throughout her early life. Her family spent time in Fayetteville, Corpus Christi, Houston, and High Point.
When they settled down in Texas, she entered A&M Consolidated High School. There, Lauren played tennis in high school and excelled on the school’s cheerleading team.

Little did she know he was actually a college football star and went to her same college.
When mutual friends introduced them, they hit it off at once and began dating in earnest. They shared many passions, including their love for sports and their Christian faith, and Lauren has often said she loved how funny Ryan was and how deep his conversations could be.
After only 3 months, she knew he was the one. One tradition they began then and continue now is for her to send him Bible verses when he needs them.
Ryan and Lauren continued to date for a few years, allowing their relationship to grow. When they both graduated from college, Ryan proposed to Lauren and they married in Mexico in 2012.

Ryan was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 2012 NFL draft. He was the Dolphins’ quarterback until 2018, when he was traded to the Tennessee Titans.
During the 2019 offseason, Tannehill signed a contract worth $7 million with incentives of up to $12 million. He was expected to be the backup, behind Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota. However, he was given the starting job midway through the season, and led the team on a run to the playoffs. That earned him 2019 Comeback Player of the Year honors, as well as the permanent role as Tennessee’s starter.

Once Tannehill’s NFL career began, Lauren too began her modeling career in earnest.
She began working in Houston and Miami, expanding her portfolio to include bridal shoots and shoots for Levinson Jewellers and Maxim Magazine. She has also modeled for Gucci. The Houston Modelling Agency and New Model Management Miami.
