Shannon Sharpe is not in the best of spots right now, and it’s been reported that there’s even more stuff on the way that will hang him out there in a terrible light.
The ESPN analyst made his weekly appearances on ‘First Take’ this past Monday and Tuesday, as he typically does. But it will be interesting to see what happens next week, as his absence would strongly suggest that the network is done with him.
Amid all the drama, audio footage of former NBA star Matt Barnes revealing that Shaq put a bounty of sorts on Sharpe’s head has leaked online.
In the clip, Barnes is heard telling someone that Shaq offered a hefty sum for information on Sharpe as part of a revenge ploy.
“I was in a group chat the other day, or actually, just yesterday,” Barnes says. “And Shaq said he’s paying top dollar for any information on our boy. “

“So, again, I don’t know if y’all are on that kind of time or not. But Shaq is known to throw large sums of money around. So, just want to put that out there,” Barnes is also heard saying.
Given the latest allegations against Sharpe, it appears that the four-time NBA champion will save some money. Or, who knows? He may have something to do with it, or may have actually gotten some dirt on the 56-year-old we aren’t even aware of yet.
In any case, the former NFL tight end is being accused of rape to the tune of $50 million and his career at ESPN is now shrouded in uncertainty.
He was also tipped to sign a $100 million deal that could be in jeopardy as well.
