Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown won the city a Super Bowl, and he was repaid by having his car stolen.
In his initial Instagram post, Brown broadly addressed “Philly” as he talked about the theft. He didn’t give any information about the model of the missing car or where the robbery occurred.
“Come on, Philly. Come on, man. You stole my whip last night,” Brown said.
“Come on, man. I’ll make a deal with you, bro. To whoever you are, which I’m going to find out soon, I’ll make a deal with you. Just bring the whip back, bro. I won’t press charges, bro.”
Luckily for AJ Brown, he got some help from Camden County police, who were able to track down Brown’s Mercedes SUV after it was stolen on Easter.
On April 21, Brown posted on Instagram that his car was returned to him a day after it was stolen.
On April 22, surveillance video showed how police tracked down his vehicle.

It only took a few hours for police to locate Brown’s black 2022 Mercedes in Camden near the intersection of Lewis and Morton streets after tracking the vehicle as it traveled from Haddonfield to Camden.
The 25-year-old man in possession of it was taken into custody for allegedly stealing Brown’s vehicle. He was charged with receiving stolen property and one charge of possessing an illegal drug, said Dan Keashen, Camden County Police Department spokesman.
Eagles Reportedly Won’t Trade AJ Brown Amid ‘Internet Speculation’

The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t planning on trading star wide receiver A.J. Brown heading into the 2025 NFL draft.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shut down those rumors as he revealed the Eagles won’t part ways with Brown despite “internet speculation.”
NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry had everyone going crazy after he stated last month that the New England Patriots contacted Philadelphia to discuss Brown’s availability.
Brown previously signed a three-year, $96 million extension with the Eagles in April 2024.
