Is Dak Prescot thinking about sticking it to his current team by leaving them next ofseason and signing with a division rival?
That is what social media is buzzing about after the Dallas Cowboys quarterback followed the official Instagram account of the Washington Football Team.
The Cowboys will place the franchise tag on Prescott this offseason, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, unless Dallas and the quarterback can agree on a long-term deal ahead of the March 9 deadline.
Last offseason, both sides couldn’t come to an agreement, so Dak played the year under the franchise tag — worth $31.4 million.
If Prescott was franchise tagged once again, he would join former Washington passer Kirk Cousins as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to play under the tag for two consecutive seasons.
