In the coming weeks or days, the world will eventually be introduced to the name of the former Washington Redskins after owner Dan Snyder made a massive decision on Monday, retiring the “Redskins” name for Washington’s football team.
One of the top suggestions is Red Tails, which has been supported by fans as well as QB Dwayne Haskins. Another interesting idea involves changing the name to Red Wolves.
On Tuesday, John Feinstein, a columnist for The Washington Post, offered another potential name when he dropped the nickname “Justice.”
Something about being called the “Washington Justice” did not sit well with fans as they reacted negatively towards the suggestion:
As many people pointed out, the Washington Justice is an Overwatch esports team based in Washington, D.C. The Justice compete in the Overwatch League as member of the league’s Atlantic South Division.
Needless to say, Justice isn’t going to work for various reasons.
