New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs addressed his viral “pink substance” video from Memorial Day weekend.
Two weeks ago, a video surfaced of Stefon Diggs partying on a boat with multiple bikini-clad women. At one point of the video, the All-Pro wide receiver can be seen carrying an unidentified pink substance.
Head coach Mike Vrabel quickly addressed the matter, telling reporters that it was important to make wise decisions on and off the field. Rumors out of New England surfaced that the Patriots would potentially cut Diggs, but the club is moving forward with the 31-year-old star.
Speaking to reporters at mandatory minicamp on Tuesday, Diggs briefly addressed the incident and said he had a conversation with Vrabel, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Diggs wouldn’t offer many details, even declining to say what the substance was:
“I want to be as candid with you as possible, but I kind of have a thing where I don’t talk about my personal life with people I don’t know personally. I had a conversation with [Mike] Vrabel, obviously, and I’m going to echo everything that he said. He told me he’s hoping everybody is making good decisions. And I had a conversation with people in the building as well. So everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal.”
“Obviously, it’s a conversation that’s happening internal, which I can’t have too much of a conversation with [you] about it. I’ve been in this league 10 years. You can format your question many different ways, I’m going to obviously answer it the same way.”

After one season with the Houston Texans, Diggs signed a three-year deal with the Patriots worth $63.5 million. His 2024 campaign ended abruptly with a torn ACL, as the four-time Pro Bowler finished with 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns.
Diggs was traded to Houston after a turbulent end to his tenure with the Buffalo Bills. The four-time Pro Bowler emerged as one of the league’s elite receivers in Buffalo, exceeding the 100-catch and 1,000-yard marks in four straight seasons.
Stefon Diggs Will Make Patriots Debut vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Diggs will make his Patriots debut on Sept. 7, when the club welcomes the new-look Las Vegas Raiders to Gillette Stadium in the season opener. It’s rather fitting, too, since Patriots legend Tom Brady is now part-owner of the Raiders.
