A surprising team has been tipped as a possible dark horse to potentially draft Shedeur Sanders, given how far he’s dropped this week.
The former Colorado quarterback has slipped from all three rounds so far, despite being vaunted as a possible top-five pick. And the Philadelphia Eagles are now being thrown out there as a team that could stop the slide.
NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero has suggested that the Eagles could use one of their late picks on Shedeur as they have a knack for getting QBs in the cogs.
“Think about a team like the Philadelphia Eagles,” he said on Saturday, “They wanna be a quarterback factory, Howie Roseman likes to draft one every year.”
Shedeur Sanders Would Probably Go To Philadelphia In A Heartbeat

Pelissero added that Philly could be the team to end the controversy, which has been the talk of the draft and has basically overshadowed everything else.
“They’re comfortable, they’re coming off a Super Bowl win, they’ve got Jalen Hurts, nobody thinks Shedeur’s coming in and challenging for the job,” he added. “Maybe a team like that could come out of the darkness and stop Shedeur Sanders from sliding any further down.

At this point, Shedeur would probably be happy to go anywhere despite previous claims that he would dictate his own future. He’s in very real danger of going undrafted, which would be a complete embarrassment to him and his family.
