Conor McGregor’s blockbuster trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier headlined the UFC’s biggest show of the year, but it was Aussie heavyweight star Tai Tuivasa who grabbed at the opportunity to put his name up in lights with a signature win.
Tuivasa needed just 67 seconds to deal with former NFL star Greg Hardy and knock him down with a thunderous knockout.
Days after the bout, Tai has taken to Instagram and delivered more punches to the face and body of Hardy by clowning him online in several posts.

“ok I’m putting my phone away now !!! But don’t talk shit after I already fucked you up !!! Can meet up whenever wherever my bred”
Asked if his victory on the big stage would launch him to the next level, he said: “I hope so! I hope so. You’ve seen me – I’ve been on a three-fight winning streak, three-fight losing streak, and now I’m back on a three-fight winning streak,” Tuivasa added. “I think I’m maturing. I feel like I’m getting better and I’m actually loving what I’m doing, to be honest, and I think it’s showing in the cage.”
Tuivasa – now 13-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC – is currently outside the UFC’s official heavyweight rankings.
Hardy faces an uncertain future after yet another lost in the UFC.
