Tampa Bay Buccaneers Players Say They Can Tell What Tom Brady’s Doing Next Season Based On Their Interactions With Him

Tom Brady is reported to be intent on taking his time before deciding what he wants to do in 2023. However, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates reckon they already know what the legendary quarterback is going to do based on their final interactions with him.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Brady’s departure from Tampa following the team’s playoff exit felt like goodbye. 

“I’d be surprised if he’s back,” one teammate was quoted as saying, while another said, “he sounded like a person saying goodbye for good.”

Brady also hinted he was done with the Bucs during his postgame presser on Monday.

People close to the veteran QB say he wants to keep an open mind and consider his options after spending some time with his kids.

Those options include returning to Tampa Bay, retiring and going to get that money from FOX, or signing with another team as a free agent. The Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans are rumored destinations.

Of the three options, a return to the Buccaneers is thought to be the least likely.
