Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have reportedly had workouts with one NFL team canceled ahead of the NFL Draft.
The Colorado Buffaloes teammates participated in their Pro Day this Friday and are both expected to be high first-round picks in 2025. However, one team has made it clear that neither one of them will be playing their rookie year in its uniform.
According to draft analyst Todd McShay, the Titans called off private workouts with the quarterback and defensive back prospects, which suggests they will make Miami QB Cam Ward the No. 1 overall pick later this month.
“So the Titans have respectfully cancelled private workouts with Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, making it all but official they will take Cam Ward No. 1,” McShay tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

And now I’m starting to hear more and more about Hunter to Cleveland at No. 2. That would mean Abdul Carter vs. Shedeur…
McShay also predicted that Hunter would go to the Cleveland Browns at No. 2, while Sanders or Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter would head to the New York Giants as the third-overall pick.

The Giants happen to be among Shedeur’s preferred teams.
The Las Vegas Raiders were thought to be his favored destination, given his relationship with Tom Brady, but the team made an offseason trade for Geno Smith, who will likely be their starter for the foreseeable future.
Of course, only time will tell where the aforementioned players end up. But it appears Sanders and Hunter will definitely not land Tennessee in 2025.
