When Brett Kern sticks his hand out for you to acknowledge him, you best believe you better reciprocate or you’re going to hear about it.
During the Titans’ blowout win over the Dolphins, Tennessee defensive end Jeffery Simmons had just made a huge tackle in the second half to stop a drive. As we walked over to the bench, he was getting congratulations from teammates.
Titans punter Brett Kern was getting ready to get a high-five so he prepared his hand to do so. Only one problem….Simmons walked right past him.
Kern sat there frozen in disbelief as teamate Nick Dzubnar came over to slap his hand.
Kern was mic’d up for this moment, so it led to him walking over to Simmons and threatening him.
For the game, Kern had 4 punts, with his longest being 52 yards.
For the 2021 season, he has 43 total punts and his longest has been 59 yards, which came against the 49ers.
