There was no way anybody could’ve predicted that Tom Brady would leave New England and take his talents to the NFC. Leaving the Patriots had been talked about for awhile, but nobody in their right mind would’ve guessed he would go to Tampa Bay.
Well, at least one guy did.
Someone known as Ed Teach on Twitter is about to cash in on two $500 bets he made on the Bucs back in February at a DraftKings Sportsbook where he guessed that Brady would end up Week 1 of the 2020 NFL regular season.
One was Bucs at +5000 and the other was +4000.
“The Buccaneers just made sense,” said the bettor to Darren Rovell of Action Network.
“The Bucs have solid players and Brady cares a lot about his legacy,” Mark said. “They have a coach in Bruce Arians, who, the like Brady, is there for his last hurrah. And I just loved that the Super Bowl is in Tampa Bay this year.”
On Friday, Brady and the Bucs made it official when he signed his deal.
